Recently I visited Hoppipola - All Day Bar & Bonhomie at
Indiranagar, Bangalore. I had heard lot of good this about the place so I was
curious to know how this place is specially it being a Roof top bar I was
excited to be there. Finally when I reached the place it didn’t disappoint me. Its
neat, simplistic and clean, and the waiters are always smiling! Can't complain
about the location either!
I first ordered a Kiwi Margarita. It’s a combination of sugar,
tequila, triple sec, kiwis, and lime juice in a blender; fill with ice cubes.
Taste was perfect. (this reminded me of the Grasshopper that Raj from Big bang
theory used to drink)
Along with Kiwi margarita I ordered OMG. It’s one of the
best Mushroom dishes I have had. Cheese stuffed along with button mushrooms. The
taste of Mushroom and cheese combination was deadly.
As I had finished Kiwi Margarita, Adrian the Manager at
Hoppipola suggested I try the Watermelon Basil Mojito, I usually don’t like
Basil leaves. But said I try this Mojito. It is made with fresh watermelon,
basil, lime and mint. Shaken with a light rum. Must say my view about Basil
changed after this.
I then Ordered Teriyaki Panner. This was the dish of the
night for me. It is made of Panner grilled with Cottage cheese with spicy
ginger flavored Teriyaki Panner.
After all the starters I decided to have margarita pizza. As
there was sometime for my Pizza to be served, I decided to take a look at this
place. I was surprised and happy to see that this place has all the board games
to enjoy along with your drinks and food.
Along with the board games this place
also has an Old video game console. I felt nostalgic playing it and
Thanked the manager for having a Old Video game console instead of a PS or a Xbox.
The game was cut short as my Margarita pizza was served, A
light pizza with olive oil, garlic, fresh basil, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and
Parmesan cheeses baked to perfection. While eating this I realized this tastes
perfect with beer.
One more thing about HoppiPola is the secret 72doors present
there. Just open the door and you can win some exciting freebies.

After trying these dishes I met Adrian and was about to
leave I saw something interesting happening at the counter. The bartender was
on the counter and was putting a drink into a person’s mouth, I asked Adrian
about it. He explained that it’s called Blazer, mixture of Hot toddy and wine put on fire,
yes they lite it inside the glass and pour it into the mouth. P.s. Please don’t
try this at home.
I had an amazing experience here at HoppiPola. Hope you guys
